Effects of Overexposure:AT A CONCENTRATION IN EXCESS OF 1.5% MAY
PRODUCE HYPERVENTILATION,HEADACHES, VISUAL DISTURBANCES, TREMOR,
LOSS OF CONSCIOUSNESS AND DEATH.

First Aid

First Aid:PERSONS SUFFERING FROM THE TOXIC EFFECT OF CARBON DIOXIDE
SHOULD BE MOVED TO AREAS WITH NORMAL ATMOSPHERE. ASSISTED
RESPIRATION & SUPPLEMENTAL OXYGEN SHOULD BE GIVEN IF THE VICTIM IS
NOT BREATHING. FROZEN TISSUES SHOULD BE FLOODED ORSOAKED W/TEPID
WATER (DO NOT USE HOT WATER). CRYOGENIC BURNS WHICH RESULT IN
BLISTERING OR DEEPER TISSUE FREEZING SHOULD BE SEEN PROMPTLY BY A
PHYSICIAN.

SKIN. USE ONLY IN WELL VENT AREAS. KEEP CYLINDERS AWAY FROM
SOURCES OF HEAT. STORE IN NON ACTIVE AREA.
Other Precautions:NEVER USE DIRECT FLAME TO HEAT A COMPRESSED GAS
CYLINDER. VALVE CAPS SHOULD RE- MAIN ON CYLINDERS NOT CONNECTED FOR
USE. SEGREGATE FULL & EMPTY CYLINDERS. AVOIDEXPOSURE TO AREAS WHERE
SALT OR OTHER CO RROSIVE CHEMICALS ARE PRESENT.
